Specialist role Business analyst Latest start date 09/01/2017 Maximum Day Rate £600 Who Speclialist Work With National Leads for assessing legal risk and Data Flow Mapping. What Specialists Work On 1. Examine datasets to establish legal risk and recommend actions for mitigation. 2. Deliver Data Flow Mapping training using Enterprise Architect Software. 3. Update and maintain the repository of data flow maps. Skills & Experience • Apply understanding of the Data Protection Act to identify legal risk in datasets • Apply the Exemptions and Execeptions of the Freedom of Information Act and the Environmental Information Regulations when determing re-use of data. • Undertake intellectual property due diligence. • Interpret 3rd party licence permissions and seek additional permissions where nececessary. • Apply understanding of national security and commercial confidentiality when assessing risk. • Experience with using Enterprise Architect Corporate Software for data mapping. • Experience of training staff, including non-technical staff, to use mapping software. • Experience of maintaining, updating and quality assuring a repository of data flow maps • Experience and knowledge of a wide range of data, including both spatial and non-spatial. Nice to Haves Experience of working in the public sector Work Location Ergon House Horseferry Road London SW1P 2AL Working Arrangments Role will be primarily based in Ergon House in London with a few days a month spent at Horizon House in Bristol.
