To achieve this, ACAS provides up to date information, independent advice, high quality training and consultancy services to help employers and employees in solving workplace problems and working together effectively. ACAS are seeking to have direct claims status for the Certificate in Internal Workplace Mediation (CIWM) award and the provider will be expected to provide accredited certification to successful delegates completing CIWM events beginning on or after the 1st April 2017 and assessed by CIWM tutors as meeting the necessary standard. The provider will work in partnership with ACAS to evolve the current specification, taking in to account methods of learning delivery and ways of assessment; and thereafter, adopt a balanced approach of continuous improvement whilst maintaining the stability and consistency of the event.
