Tender description

The services of a Medical Physics Expert as required under Regulation 9 of the Ionising Radiation (Medical Exposure) Regulations 2000 (IRMER2000), providing: Advice and support on the optimisation of dose and image quality in line with relevant NHSBSP and other professional guidance. Performance testing of mammographic X-ray systems as required by Regulation 32 (3-4) of the Ionising Radiation Regulations 1999 (IRR99) and in compliance with recommended IPEM and NHSBSP Standards. Support for in-house Quality Assurance Performance measurements and support for the QA of breast ultrasound equipment as recommended in NHSBSP Standards.
