Tender description

KCC is the Disposal Authority for Kent and as such, has a responsibility to provide for the treatment and/or disposal of circa 730,000 tonnes per annum of municipal waste generated in Kent. Hardcore and Soil is a material which is deemed to derive from household projects and therefore, residents are limited to bringing in 90kg (190lbs) per day to deter traders. KCC Waste Management is looking to procure an off-taker provision for six of the eighteen Household Waste Recycling Centre sites in Kent (Sevenoaks, Tunbridge Wells, Swanley, Dartford, Maidstone and Gravesham) for Hardcore and Soil. KCC Waste Management wishes to procure an array of providers or one provider which gives KCC the most cost efficient method of disposing of hardcore and soil.
