Tender description

The London Borough of Enfield is entering into a contract with a provider for the repair, movement and refurbishment of bins, primarily related to its trade waste service within the borough The Contact is divided into two lots. Lot 1 for the Collection, Delivery and Repair of Waste Containers and Lot 2 for the Refurbishment of Metal waste Containers. The provision to the satisfaction of the Authority of a maintenance and transportation Services for Bulk Wheeled Waste Containers and Wheeled Waste Containers throughout the Contract period. The Services shall include the following: — the stock management and transportation of Waste Containers including the delivery, exchange or collection of Waste Containers between the Authority's depot and any location within the Borough; — the repair of Waste Containers on site at any location within the Borough; — the internal and external cleaning of Waste Containers using a self-contained washing system which contains all waste and waste water for proper disposal on site at any location within the Borough — the replacement of labels and logos on Waste Containers. The Contractor will provide a full refurbishment service for Bulk Wheeled Waste Containers as requested by the Authorised Officer. The scope of the refurbishment shall include straightening and welding as necessary, the replacement of components such as lids, wheels locks etc. as necessary, shot blasting, repainting and placement of logos and labels as required. The service shall include the transportation to and from the location where the refurbishment work is undertaken.
