Tender description

The requirement is for up to 2 suppliers to provide a household green garden waste treatment and disposal service. These requirements are to be split into 2 Lots with 1 or 2 suppliers providing the service. Lot 1 — Broadland District Council Broadland District Council operates a paid-for, opt-in garden waste service. The service operates on a fortnightly basis, year-round but with no collections over the Christmas and New Year period — so 25 collections per year. Collections are made by another supplier and the current collected tonnage is circa 10 500 per annum. Lot 2 — Norwich City Council Norwich City Council operates a paid-for, opt-in garden waste service. The service operates on a fortnightly basis, year-round but with no collections over the Christmas and New Year period — so 25 collections per year. Collections are made by another supplier and the current collected tonnage is circa 3 800 per annum.
