Tender description

The Trust is seeking expression of interest for the provision of either a Medicines Supply and/or Medicine Distribution service. The Trust has a range of medicines which are held on front line ambulances. The ambulances are restocked at the end of shift when they return to a Make Ready Centre or Station. The Trust is seeking an external pharma provider with the capability and resource to stock check, supply and distribute medicines to 70 premises across Kent, Surrey and Sussex on a weekly basis. The successful partner(s) would need to demonstrate relevant licensing to supply medicines and the appropriate governance to provide a secure, reliable, efficient and auditable medicines logistics and resupply service. The Trust uses approx. 50 different (JRCAL) medicines with an annual spend on medicines of c 600 000 GBP per year. To supply either a Medicines Supply and / or Medicines Distribution Service.
