Tender description
The Assisted Conception Unit located at Jessop Wing is in the process of developing a PGD / PGS service which will improve patient care at STH. Biopsy will be undertaken on site with the cells being sent to an external provider to report the results. The process involves secure carriage of the genetic material to the testing site followed by accurate testing using the most up to date technology. Choosing the right private provider to work with us is absolute key to the success of this project. Training and support is a very high priority as is their experience with working with and setting up servicing in other units. Sheffield Teaching Hospitals Foundation Trust (STH) wishes to engage with organisations who are interested in being potential providers of a Genetic Testing Service, for the geographical area of Sheffield. A brief description and the critical elements of the service specification are listed below. STH is keen to understand your organisations interest.
