Tender description

The requirement is to provide the United Kingdom Royal Air Force Aircrews and Passengers with an in-flight catering service for overseas flights (excludes the UK). The food standard will be Economy Class. The requirement is broken into separate lots and suppliers must have security access to any of the following airports: Lot 1. Minhad UAE (NHD), Lot 2. Nairobi (NBO), Lot 3. Bahrain (BAH), Lot 4 Toronto (YYZ), Calgary (YYC), Halifax (YHZ), Lot 5 Aqaba (AQJ), and Lot 6 Hannover (HAJ) Frankfurt (FRA). Supply of economy class In-flight food and catering service with full security access to Minhad (United Arab Emirates) airfield (IATA Code NHD) and Military Aircraft. All bidders must also clearly demonstrate they are able to comply with the required food safety, Quality Assurance standards and International Trade standards. There will all be an agreed standard menu which will consist of the following 1. Breakfast with tray lay up, 2. Main meal with tray lay up, 3. Desserts, 4. Hot and cold Snacks boxes and other disposable items such as tea, coffee and toiletries. Supply of economy class In-flight food and catering service with full security access to Nairobi airfield (IATA Code NBO) and Military Aircraft. All bidders must also clearly demonstrate they are able to comply with the required food safety, Quality Assurance standards and International Trade standards. There will all be an agreed standard menu which will consist of the following: 1. Breakfast with tray lay up, 2. Main meal with tray lay up, 3. Desserts, 4. Hot and cold Snacks boxes and other disposable items such as tea, coffee and toiletries.
