University of Birmingham has recently acquired an Elekta Neuromag MEG system. The University has now decided to buy a two-layer magnetically shielded room also from Elekta. The shielded room is custom made for the Elekta Neuromag MEG system and is required for the MEG to function. It is designed to work properly with various peripherals such as a video projector and the cabeling for the electronics. Furthermore it is developed to allow for the internal Helium recycling system to operate with the MEG system.
