Tender description

The University currently provides nursery day care for children of University staff, students Cambridge Assessment and affiliated groups, aged between 3 months and 5 years. The care is provided at two sites; Edwinstowe Close and West Cambridge. Both nurseries are run as Workplace Nurseries and achieve Ofsted Outstanding classification. The University is currently building a third nursery on its exciting and award winning North West Cambridge Development. Through this Tender exercise, the University intends to identify an experienced childcare provider (‘Contractor’) to manage and run the new North West Cambridge nursery, largely as a Workplace Nursery, to provide high quality childcare, in accordance with the information and specification set out in the ITT. The 703 m² premises are architect designed for this purpose and currently in the final stages of construction. The appointed nursery services contractor will be required to equip the premises as soon as it is handed over to the.
