Tender description

IT Assist provides common ICT services to the departments of the Northern Ireland Civil Service, Non Departmental Public Bodies and other public sector bodies. IT Assist Confidential is a branch of IT Assist and provides ICT services to the Department of Justice and its agencies. Part of the overall messaging solution provided by IT Assist to its customers is that all e-mail entering or leaving the environment goes through an on-premise Secure Mail Gateway. The solution is currently supported until June 2017 when it becomes end of life. IT Assist are now looking for a more modern Secure Mail Gateway solution that takes into account the ever changing threat landscape. The contract will commence on contract award and is for a period of four. 4. years from service commencement, which must be by 1.5.2017, with 2 options to extend for one period of 12 months each.
