RMBC - MG - Maintenance of Trees at Addlestone One

Tender description

Runnymede Borough Council are inviting tenders on behalf of their Local Authority Trading Company RBC Services for the maintenance of trees within the Addlestone One development. Please note that any contract will be between the successful Tenderer and RBC Services. The development consists of 213 residential apartments which vary in size from one to three bedrooms. There is also cinema, hotel, supermarket, gym and a range of restaurants and shops. The development is designed to be of a very high specification. The same is true of the landscaping and this will be expected to continue on into the maintenance of trees around the development. Within the development there will be 56 trees and the maintenance of them will be split with 32 of the trees to be maintained in year one and the full 56 trees to be maintained from year two onward. It is anticipated that the contract will be for four years with the option to extend for up to an additional two years on an annual review basis. The trees will be supplied and planted by a contractor employed within the Addlestone One development. Once planted the trees will become the responsibility of the successful tenderer to maintain as prescribed in this ITT.
