Tender description

The National Composites Centre intends to procure a Large Composite Curing Oven to be used for manufacturing research and development purposes. It is the NCC's intention to conduct market testing and hold a Supplier Engagement Day on the 19th of May at the NCC. Places shall be allocated on a first come first served basis; please register your interest via email to Danielle.Spencer.External@nccuk.com by no later than 15:00 (GMT) on the 12th of May. Timings for the day will be decided upon on receipt of responses. Please note, the NCC operates on the basis of openness, fairness and transparency, and attendance to the Supplier Engagement Day shall not inhibit any ability to subsequently tender for this opportunity, or provide any advantage. Any suppliers interested but unable to attend, should still register their interest via the email address above. It is envisaged that the capability will be approximately as described below; Oven suitable for aerospace standard curing of composite components with an internal capacity of approximately 20 m x 5 m and 3.5 m height. Temperature range from 40°C to 250°C, integrated vacuum system and a comprehensive data acquisition capability.
