Housing Related Support Contract

Tender description

The North Somerset Council Supporting People Team currently commissions housing related support services via 2 specific contracts; • Older Persons’ Floating Support (OPFS) • Comprehensive Floating Support (CFS) OPFS provides services geared towards older people, whilst CFS provides for all other customer groups. The two contracts deliver the same set of support services related to housing, but to 2 different customer groups. The Council is seeking to jointly commission these services as a single contract with a maximum value of £2,000,000 per annum. They will not be divided into Lots, as the intention is to combine OPFS and CFS into a single support service to support all customers. The contract will be awarded for a term of 24 months, with an option to extend for up to 12 months, for a total contract term not exceeding 36 months. The Council considers that TUPE will apply to these services, and there are a number of posts employed by the current provider which may be eligible for TUPE transfer. A bidders' briefing will be held on the 15th of May at 10:30 in the Town Hall, Weston-Super-Mare, North Somerset BS23 1UJ to summarise the opportunity, the tender process and give you the chance to ask questions.
