Tender description

The City of Cardiff Council seeks to appoint a single provider (or a lead provider within a consortium) to deliver Domiciliary Care and Housing Related Support Services within Ty Onnen, a supported living scheme for vulnerable adults with a physical and sensory impairment in Cardiff. Ty Onnen is a purpose built supported living scheme for vulnerable adults with a physical and sensory impairment. Hafod Housing is the Registered Social landlord. The supported living scheme consists of a cluster 6 one bedroom flats with the facility for staff to include sleeping/ night cover for the personal domiciliary care and the support service delivers targeted support for each person throughout 24 hours over 7 days per week. The scheme is designed to support the independence of people to live in the community. The provision of Supported Living Services within the Ty Onnen scheme is in line with the principles and values outlined in the Social Services and Wellbeing (Wales) Act 2014. It is intended to award contract with a provider (or a lead provider within a consortium) for the period of 4 years with the option to extend for up to an additional 24 months provided that the contract does not extend beyond 31.3.2022.
