Dounreay Site Restoration Limited (DSRL) is considering a competition for a Framework Agreement for Decommissioning Services. It is envisaged that the Framework Agreement will be utilised to facilitate decommissioning activities on the Dounreay Site. This Prior Information Notice is to facilitate Market consultation on the extent and scope of this Framework Agreement and to allow interested parties to engage with DSRL prior to the commencement of any formal competition. The precise scope of the services will be fully defined on an individual Work Package basis, however DSRL envisages that services will be tendered on a turnkey basis to a number of Main Contractors. Consequently DSRL is interested in hearing from those Companies which are capable of providing an end to end Decommissioning Service. It is envisaged that the Framework Agreement will be utilised to facilitate decommissioning activities on the Dounreay Site. The precise scope of the services will be fully defined on an individual Work Package basis, however DSRL envisages that services will be tendered on a turnkey basis to a number of Main Contractors. Consequently DSRL is interested in hearing from those Companies which are capable of providing an end to end Decommissioning Service. It is envisaged that the Framework Agreement will have a duration of 5-years, with an option for 2 additional 1 year extensions, and a value of between GBP 300M and GBP 600M. DSRL envisages using the competitive procedure with negotiation and awarding the Framework Agreement in the 1st quarter of 2018 with a starting date of April 2018.
