UK Power Networks (UKPN) is seeking providers of Occupational Health services and Drug & Alcohol testing for a tender event. UKPN requires interested parties to register with www.achilles.com under category codes: Occupational Health Service (2.6.8 Occupational Health Services) and Drug and Alcohol Screening & Testing (4.50.99 Other Laboratory Services). UK Power Networks provides power to approximately a quarter of the UK's population via its three regulated electricity distribution networks, that are owned by, London Power Networks plc, Eastern Power Networks plc and South Eastern Power Networks plc. Main service requirements: 1.Core team including: technicians, advisors and therapists, company physicians, contract manager, health coach and administrative support plus relevant specialist support. 2. On line portal for management referrals and pre placement assessments. 3. Electronic medical record management supported by comprehensive management information reporting. 4. Pre-placement, for cause and random drugs and alcohol testing. 5. Case management including rehabilitation advice and triaged Physiotherapy service. 6. Statutory, industry specific and risk based Fitness for Work Assessments and Health Surveillance. 7. Support and delivery of a wide range of wellbeing initiatives. 8. Employee Assistance Programme providing telephone and on line support, 24 hours a day 7 days a week.
