Bishop's Stortford Town Council runs a popular Children's playground on Sworders Field Bishop's Stortford at grid reference 549064:221293. This benefitted from a major investment in 2012/2013 and previous to that a programme of rolling investments, whereby typically one item of equipment was added or replaced each year. The Town Council now has up to £25,000 to spend on a further capital enhancement and is inviting turnkey bids from interested parties. The objective is further to enhance the play experience for the target audience. This could be achieved by adding new equipment, replacing existing equipment, other interventions or a combination of measures. The resulting enhanced area should be as inclusive as reasonably possible. It is not essential that the entire budget be spent and the Council is receptive to proposals which use the whole budget, or as little as £15,000. All figures are net of VAT.
