Tender description

Hounslow Children’s Safeguarding and Specialist Services is preparing for a full Single Ofsted Inspection in Spring 2018 in the context of significant savings to meet the medium term financial strategy. The purpose of the project is to ensure that a sound and effective safeguarding system is in place to protect and promote positive outcomes for children in need, children with child protection plans, children in care, and care leavers and that the local authority is inspection ready and on track to meet its ambitions of an Ofsted rating of GOOD. This will require a systematic review of existing services to benchmark performance against national standards, identify and implement improvements, develop, drive and deliver a robust and effective improvement project plan with demonstrable outcomes. The consultant will be expected to drive and implement these improvements, report on progress, advise and influence future direction. Keywords: Improvement, OFSTED
