Tender description

To carry out an actuarial review of the Council’s insurance fund to determine whether the fund is adequately reserved and that the general insurance provision and MMI insurance provision are maintained at appropriate levels. The actuarial valuation should also include: • an analysis of the Council’s past insurance claims experience to predict, using established actuarial standards, estimated future claims payments; • consideration of new and emerging risks that may impact the Council at a future date; • a recommendation on historical MMI asbestos related claims taking into consideration government legislation and the impact on the Council’s insurance fund.
