Tender description

MRI is one of the key research tools at the MRC-CBU, used by 12 out of our 13 programme leaders and their teams. Each MRI scan involves a coordinated effort between the researcher, the volunteer panel office and the MRI team. In addition, MRI has high running costs. Finally, our MRI scanner is often booked months in advance, making each slot a highly sought after resource. For these reasons, it is important to maximise the data quality obtained from each scan, in order to reduce the need for replacement slots.
