The Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) is replacing its Alerting and Response Work-flow Management legacy service. This notice is issued with intent of inviting service providers offering SaaS capability for the replacement service. The new Alerting and Response Work-flow Management service is expected to provide a number of capabilities which includes the following: — Alert and Response Work-flow Management Capability. — Generic Notifications broadcasts and acknowledgement. — User Access Management. — Website and email Analytics and Reporting. Only service offerings with EU data centres will be considered. To replace the Central Alerting System (CAS) which is a web-based cascading system for issuing patient safety alerts and important public health messages to the NHS and others, including independent providers of health and social care. The alerts issued via CAS come from the MHRA but also from other organisations such as the Department of Health and NHS Improvement.
