NIE Networks Connections are preparing for contestability of connections work. This involves not only a business change affecting processes, work practices and organisational changes, but a programme of IT investment to ensure its IT applications support the organisation to operate effectively in a contestable market. NIE Networks requires a suitably experienced individual to provide test management services in support of its business transformation programme. The individual will work with various other parties in the programme such as project managers, end user testers and developers. Due to the fixed timelines for the introduction of contestability, it is imperative that the IT transformation programme is delivered on time and to the required quality. The success of user/customer test activities is critical to the overall programme, and as such the performance of the Test Manager will be a critical success factor.
