The Collaborate for Business Growth ERDF project provides support to businesses from different sectors across Leicester and Leicestershire. The LCB Depot Business Growth Team is responsible for providing support to creative businesses in Leicester City. Brief for the support The LCB Depot Business Growth Team is currently looking for a “Network Champion” to deliver a series of sector specific networking/speaker events aimed at supporting creative businesses across Leicester. The Business Growth Team are keen to receive tenders from interested individuals with ideas as to the content, venue and speakers for the events to be delivered to the creative community. Themes for the events could include, learning from experienced or inspirational creatives, experts discussing issues relevant to their particular creative sub-sector or lessons learned that may be helpful to people considering self-employment in the creative industries. The “Network Champion” will be responsible for suggesting the theme of each event, sourcing each speaker in collaboration with the Business Growth Team as well as booking the venue and promoting the event to the creative community. The successful Champion should have experience of delivering similar events to creatives in Leicester and Leicestershire and should have an existing network of creative businesses that they are engaged with.
