Summary of the work Project Engineer to lead on delivery of RN Operational IS system to new and in service platforms including the Queen Elizabeth Class. Specialist role Programme manager Expected Contract Length 11 Months with options to extend to the 2 year point pending financial approval Latest start date Monday 5 June 2017 Maximum Day Rate The maximum day rate paid to an agency / organisation is £550 ex VAT per day. This post is INSIDE IR35. Who Speclialist Work With Civilian, Military and Contractor Personnel within ISS Defence Platform Services (DPS), NSoIT(D) What Specialists Work On Identification and management of project stakeholders. Customer/Supplier engagement, Identification and management of project risks, Management of project plan, Drafting of RFQs for contract action, Liaison with equipment installation specialists, Prepare/assist drafting of Certificates of Clearance for Use and CIAP documentation and Assessment of supplier specifications/solutions. Skills & Experience • Project management (Assessment is by qaulification (APMP/PRINCE 2 or equivelent) - experience in lieu acceptable if competence demonstrated at interview. - 40% • Risk management (Ability to identify, classify and manage project risks - competence to be demonstrated at interview) -25% • Delivery of ICT systems - experience to be demonstrated at interview - 25% • Knowledge of military operations - experience of operating environments and challenges faced to be demonstrated at interview - 5% Work Location MOD ISS Corsham, Westwells Road, Corsham, Wilts SN13 9NR. Working Arrangments 5 days a week (37 hours per week) within a bandwidth of 08:00 - 18:00 (hours to be agreed with individual teams). Individuals will be permitted to leave by 1500hrs on Friday. All resources will be provided access to the organisation's IT system and no utilisation of personal or company laptops will be permitted.
