Tender description

The Scottish Government's Energy and Climate Change Directorate is seeking a suitably qualified and experienced Contractor (hereinafter the Supplier) to undertake the development, administration and delivery of a new and innovative programme, the Climate Challenge Programme Malawi (CCPM). Based on the core principles of Scotland's successful domestic Climate Challenge Fund, the CCPM will be a strategic and integrated programme implementing a range of community-led projects in southern Malawi, via a team of remunerated on-the-ground development officers. The CCPM will support a select group of rural communities to identify and implement their own solutions for adapting to and building resilience against the worst effects of climate change. This requirement is being undertaken as a Light Touch Regime procurement.
