Liverpool City council is a major local employer and service provider which directly employs over 5,700 people serving 440,000 residents and 55,000 students. The Council is looking to implement a framework to support the Apprenticeship & Skills Framework to meet new government legislation The City Council will be required to contribute to a new apprenticeship levy and pay for training and assessment providers directly for apprenticeship training and assessment provision. This Apprenticeship levy funds will be managed directly by the City Council who will have overall responsibility for a new online Apprenticeship Service. Lots include: 1 Business and Administration 2 Project Management 3 Management 4 Leadership 5 Human Resources 6 Marketing and Events 7 Accounting 8 Finance 9 Facilities Management 10 Cleaning and Environmental Support Services 11 Sustainable Resource Management 12 Energy Management 13 Digital Industries 14 Sports Leisure and Recreation 15 Direct Learning Support Schools 16 Direct Learning Support 17 Child Development and Wellbeing 18 Health and Social Care 19 Hospitality and Catering 20 Law and Legal Services 21 Housing 22 Buildings and Construction 23 Surveying 1 24 Surveying 2 25 Public Services 26 Libraries There is provision for Halton Borough Council to call of this Framework if they decide to do so.
