Tender description

This tender deals with the supply and machine lay of Hot Rolled Asphalt (HRA) and Coated Macadam (AC and SMA) and Associated Carriageway Cold Planing. This framework contract will enable Engineering Operations to complete the function of the supply and lay of hot rolled asphalt and coated macadam, by machine lay, and associated carriageway cold planing by employing contractors when required to carry out work within the programme. Contractors will carry out said functions on the Boroughs Highway Network in a value for money, timely efficient and safe manner. Contractors will minimise disruption and ensure the safety of all highway users while carrying out the works There are no guarantees to the value of the work allocated as part of this framework.
