Tender description

The Public Services Department provides a cesspit emptying service for the island of Guernsey using a fleet of vehicle tankers capable of emptying a cesspit via remote emptying point coupling or direct hose connection into the cesspit. The majority of customers can accept service from a commercial vehicle that satisfies the Guernsey Width Restriction and provides a 1500 gallon tank for collection purposes. Quotation prices should be based on 2 vehicles. Vendors are advised to read the conditions of purchase and specification thoroughly to ensure that the item proposed and the price quoted fully complies with all documentation. A quotation return indicating the actual parameters of the equipment proposed must be submitted with your tender, including the retail price and appropriate discount for the basket of spares requested. Consideration would be given to an ‘Export’ version chassis if such an option was more cost effective in the long term due to the local driving conditions.
