Tender description

5 contracts were awarded by the Foundation to develop Professional Exchanges in areas not yet covered by the existing pilots - Tenders for provision in geographical locations where an Exchange currently ran, were not considered. Existing pilots were in the following locations: East Midlands, West Midlands, South-East, London, Teesside, Suffolk and Hampshire. As a further extension to the pilot phase, consideration was given to tenders who covered larger geographical areas (on a national scale) and who supported practitioners in 'hard to reach' activity where practitioners might be less able to access support from their peers (for example because there were fewer practitioners in their area of specialism, or because of physical barriers to peer sharing).
