Invitation to tender to act as an energy consultant on behalf of Hitachi Europe Limited

Tender description

Hitachi Europe Ltd requires support to deliver its 'smart energy savings for business' intervention. This intervention has been designed to address a particular challenge on the Isles of Scilly that many businesses rely on large buildings (in relation to their business size), particularly those working in the tourism industry. With many of these buildings being inefficient in their use of energy as a result of, in particular, poor insulation and high costs of heating and for many businesses these costs have a significant impact on their productivity. To help address these issues this activity will deliver a series of interventions to 200 businesses, to support them to improve their energy efficiency and capitalise on the wider benefits of the SEI project.
