Queen Elizabeth's Grammar School Ashbourne Academy is a 1300 student Phase 2 Academy located in Green Road, Ashbourne, Derbyshire. Grounds area is approximately 190,000 sq.m and includes six winter sports pitches. The Academy wish to appoint a service provider to maintain the grounds and sports fields in order to achieve excellent standards of site presentation and to maximise the availability of playing surfaces and commercial letting potential. It is envisaged that the contract will be awarded for 3 years with 2 x 2 year optional extensions. The key contract elements are; • Routine maintenance of all external areas; • Grass mowing; • Ensure waterways and drainage channels are free from obstructions; • A seasonal programme of sports field preparation and maintenance. QEGS formed a Multi Academy Trust, QEGSMAT, in 2016 which currently comprises Queen Elizabeth's Grammar School, Castle View Primary, Matlock, Waterhouse Primary near Ashbourne and Springfield Junior School in Swadlincote. As the Multi-Academy Trust continues to grow there may be scope to open up exciting future opportunities to the successful Contractor.
