Tender description

Tenders are invited, on behalf of Leicestershire Partnership NHS Trust, University Hospitals of Leicester NHS Trust and Leicestershire Organisation for the Relief of Suffering (LOROS). The following contract will consist of: — Provision Of Oral and Enteral Feeds, Feeding Pumps and Consumables and Related Support Services; — Home Delivery Service; — Hospital In Reach Training for Safe and Timely Discharge of Enterally Fed Patients — Balloon-retained Gastrostomy Button specification 1.2 The scope of the procurement covers the following lots:- Lot 1: Oral and Enteral Nutrition and Dietary Products (Oral Nutritional Supplements, Enteral Tube Feeds and Specialist Nutrition Products), Enteral Feeding Pumps and Pump Consumables; Maintenance and Support Services; Home Enteral Nutrition Service; In reach training and education for enterally fed hospital patients. Lot 2: Balloon-retained Gastrostomy Buttons. Lot 1: Oral and Enteral Nutrition and Dietary Products (Oral Nutritional Supplements, Enteral Tube Feeds and Specialist Nutrition Products), Enteral Feeding Pumps and Pump Consumables; Maintenance and Support Services; Home Enteral Nutrition Service; In reach training and education for enterally fed hospital patients. The Leicestershire Partnership Trust (LPT) and University Hospitals of Leicester (UHL) NHS Trusts currently provide gastrostomy buttons to children and adults for use both in hospital and at home. This tender is for the provision of this product, related ancillary items and services, to cover acute and community requirements. It forms Lot 2 of the Leicestershire Partnership Trust tender for Enteral Feeds, Feeding Pumps and Consumables & related support service: T/19/134. The contract is for an initial period of 4 years with the option to extend by up to 3 further years subject to annual review.
