Tender description

Fingal County Council, as part of its commitment under Rebuilding Ireland wishes to develop a programme of new-build housing on land in its ownership in the Dublin 15 area, circa 30 hectares, and to improve the environment in its existing estates. It is proposed to invite tenders from architects to develop this programme and an architect-led Design Plan for these lands. The aim of the programme will be to develop a vibrant and heterogeneous community, with links to the surrounding areas and to provide new housing; But also to improve the environment and security of existing householders by making better open spaces and removing or improving problem areas (chiefly poorly functioning open space). Identification of potential housing sites in existing estates in Dublin 15 and plate-making in the existing urban environment will also be required. The master-planning of these objectives will be against the background of the Fingal County Council Development Plan 2017 - 2022.
