The London Borough of Merton invites interested potential providers to Adult Substance Misuse Market Warming Event Wednesdays 26th April 2017, 9,30am – 11.30am The London Borough of Merton would like to invite interested providers to a Market Warming Event on Wednesday 26th April 2017 at the Middle Hall, The Chaucer centre, Canterbury Rd, Morden SM4 6PX The Borough is seeking to invite suitably experienced providers of Adult Substance Misuse Services to attend a second market warming event in relation to the future provision of Adult Substance Misuse Prevention and Treatment Services in Merton. This is an exciting opportunity to work with Commissioners to deliver an innovative and forward looking service with a substantial emphasis upon the prevention and recovery from substance misuse and the harms associated with it. The event will also provide an opportunity for potential providers to understand more about the service that will be procured, and in particular it’s core components. In addition it is intended that the event will; • introduce potential bidders to local organisations e.g. Merton Federation and MVSC • explore prioritisation and clarify KPI’s • discuss social value This exercise is not part of any pre-qualification or selection process. It is intended as an awareness, communication and information-gathering exercise offering an opportunity for potential providers to help understand commissioning intentions and offer opportunities for potential future providers to network, forge partnerships and start thinking about recovery focussed service delivery models. This therefore does not represent a commitment from the participating local authorities to award a contract or issue an invite to tender to any provider that expresses an interest in this market warming exercise.
