The University is seeking to engage an experienced agency to help transform its web presence into a responsive, integrated, engaging and transactional digital environment. We have commissioned a statement of requirements report to understand our user needs and to enable us to make informed decisions regarding the best approach for the development of our web presence. Our current assumption is that we are seeking a full service agency to deliver a cloud based solution, however we may split the procurement into lots and are open to other technical hosting options in the right circumstances. The agency will further develop our requirements in order to design, build and implement a new university online presence that provides an engaging and rich user experience that reaches beyond traditional web design and incorporates personalisation, links to social networking, digital services and manages the digital relationship from visitor to enquirer and beyond. The UWE Bristol website is managed using an out of date content management system, missing many features and capabilities of new solutions. This prevents the university from delivering a structured, dynamic and engaging end-to-end experience for its web visitors. It also results in duplicated processes and lost productivity for the current web management team. This prevents the University from showcasing its strongest assets, its people and its work.
