This public procurement competition relates to the supply of round log haulage services from suitably qualified tenderers who can meet our requirements for Haulage Services in 2017 — Allocation 1. The contract involves the haulage of round logs from forest roadside to Smartply (Waterford), Medite (Clonmel) and other locations. This contract will also include all round-wood products, i.e. large and small sawlog, stake, firewood and energy-wood. Coillte are using an open procurement procedure, which means that the any interested party can submit a tender. The contracting authority reserves the right to extend the term for a period or periods of up to 1 year with a maximum of 2 years, such extensions will be subject to agreed terms and conditions, and the contracting authority's obligations at law. The contract involves the haulage of round logs from forest roadside to Smartply (Waterford), Medite (Clonmel) and other locations. This contract will also include all round-wood products, i.e. large and small sawlog, stake, firewood and energy-wood. Delivery of these products will be from forest roadside to a range of customers with collection and delivery outside of Coillte Business Area Unit (BAU) boundaries (BAU Map — Appendix A on Tender Document).
