Tender description

The supply of tentage insulation panels to be fitted into the General Service (GS) tentage currently in-service with the UK Ministry of Defence. Babcock DSG Limited — acting as agent to the UK Ministry of Defence — has under consideration a 4 year Framework Agreement for Supply of Tentage Insulation Panels and associated parts to be fitted into the following range of General Service (GS) Shelters: 1. 12'x 12' GS Shelter, 2. 18'x 24' GS Shelter, 3. 12' Passageway, 4. 4-Way Connector, 5. Porch. These panels are to be fitted to the inside frame supporting the tent canvas, and the insulation must be secured by tensioners. The resultant products must comply with the ITC Insulation Performance Specification OI/PS/8002 and be independently tested to the British Standards contained within. They must also be compatible with the current GS Tentage frameworks and MK3 insulation. The product shall be intuitive to install and require no specialist training to install. If Babcock DSG Limited intent to proceed with this procurement opportunity, the specification quoted above shall be provided with the Contract Notice.
