Tender description

Provision of Next Generation Broadband infrastructure and services to the Fife Community Broadband project area representing the rural areas of North East Fife not planned to benefit from commercial coverage or from the publicly funded rollouts through the Digital Scotland Superfast Broadband (DSSB) programme. Community Initiatives North East Fife (CoINEF), a Company Limited by Guarantee and a registered Charity has been created to develop a community led social enterprise. The first project CoINEF is undertaking is to support the deployment of Next Generation Broadband to the rural areas of North East Fife not planned to benefit from commercial coverage or the publicly funded rollouts through the Digital Scotland Superfast Broadband (DSSB) programme. CoINEF, working in partnership with Community Broadband Scotland (CBS), a Scottish Government initiative led by Highlands and Islands Enterprise, wishes to identify a supplier to provide a Next Generation Access (NGA) State Aid compliant (SA. 40720 (2016/N) infrastructure that will enable access to NGA services at greater than 30 Mbps to all premises in the project area (subject to any technical and funding constraints). The successful bidder will contract with CoINEF. This contract will not be divided into lots as this would make the execution of the contract excessively technically difficult.
