Provision of Security Services – Car Park and Cemetery Locking/Unlocking and a Gatekeeper

Contract No. PK001/17 Scope: Ashford Borough Council (ABC) is looking to appoint a security service provider with a proven track record to carry out various duties in a diligent and timely manner upholding the professional reputation of the council. Duties are Monday to Sunday and will include but are not limited to: gate opening/closing at various council properties including a multi-storey car park, open car parks, cemeteries and gardens, provision of town centre gatekeeper and release of locked-in vehicles. Multiple locations may require attendance at any one time and therefore it is essential that resources permit this activity. Tenders are invited for an initial contract period of 3 years with the possibility of extending by 1 year with a possible extension of a further 1 year making a total of 5 years. The Quality aspect of your bid will be evaluated from the responses to the questions in the Suitability Assessment Questionnaire, and the Project Specific Questions A which are Pass/Fail. A tender may not be accepted if a Fail is scored. Project Specific Questions B are weighted, and tenderers will have to achieve a score of 60% or more for their tender to be considered further. Contract Award The contract will be awarded to the supplier who submits the Most Economically Advantageous tender.
