Tender description

YPO intends to create, on behalf of our members, a framework agreement for smart systems to control and optimise secondary hot water systems in public properties. The system must be able to monitor flow and return temperature, hot water usage patterns and use intelligent machine learning to establish the optimal level of heat input based on forecast probability of volume and period of use of hot water each day. — Reduces circulation losses through an intelligent/self-learning mechanism that distinguishes between normal demand and 1 off usage patterns. Provides a reduction in energy costs and carbon emissions. — Monitors hot water usage patterns and then establishes the optimal comfort level through memorising the hot water usage patterns in the building. — Forecasts probability of use and length of hot water use each day. — System need to keep ‘learning’ constantly and continuously adjusts the look-ahead running times to the actual running times. — Ensures secondary return pumps remains dormant for periods of no demand whilst maintaining compliance with HSE guidelines in terms of water circulation. — System fitted to hot water systems using any fuel source, with no user input required.
