Tender description

Delivery of a Children's Rights, Advocacy and Independent Visitor and Return Interview service across Rochdale Borough Council. The service aims to promote the rights of children and young people who are on a child in need plan, who have a child protection plan or who are cared for, through the provision of an independent children's rights, advocacy and independent visitors service, in accordance with the National Standards. The service will: — Ensure that children and young people are aware of and able to access appropriate services. — Provide advice and information so that children and young people are empowered to ensure their views and wishes are heard, their rights are respected and reflected in the decision making about their lives in order to assist them in making balanced decisions regarding their welfare and support. — Provide an independent visitor to advise and befriend those children and young people where it is considered in their best interests. — Children who are missing from care are provided with a Return Home interview by an independent person.
