Tender description

The provision of NHS111 to 23 CCG's across the Yorkshire and Humber area including Bassetlaw, this contract provides for the sub-contracted provision of Out of Hours Primary Medical Services on behalf of the 10 CCG's across West Yorkshire. This notice is to advise of the Commissioners' intention to seek agreement through dialogue with the current provider of these services (Yorkshire Ambulance Service NHS Trust) to continue the provision of service by way of a contract of 12 months duration from the end of the current contract. The extension of service period is to allow the Commissioners' to develop and articulate a comprehensive model for the provision of a high-quality 24/7 Integrated Urgent Care (IUC) service, delivering effective and efficient care for their populations. The development and procurement of this model will be aligned to allow the new arrangements to be in place for 1.4.2019. This opportunity will be advertised later this year.
