Tender description

The aim of the Framework is to provide supported living services for: — People with mental health problems (including those who may also have drug and alcohol issues); and — People with Learning Disabilities. The Framework shall consist of the following Lots: Mental Health Services: Lot 1: Low Level Support: This Lot will encompass one to one support of between 4 and 4.30 hours per week. Lot 2: Medium Level Support: This Lot will encompass one to one support of around 2 hours per day. Lot 3: High Level Support: This Lot will encompass one to one support of around 3 hours per day. Learning Disability Services: Lot 4: Low to Moderate Needs: This Lot will encompass services that support service users who require low to moderate levels of support. This may include young people leaving home and developing new skills to gain independence. Lot 5: Complex Needs (High Level Support): Data collected in 2013 for people aged over 18 with learning disabilities showed that around 10 % were considered as having a complex or profound learning disability (defined as learning disability complicated by severe problems of continence, mobility or behaviour, or severe repetitive behaviour with no effective speech). This Lot will encompass services that are equipped to meet the varying needs of this Service User group. Lot 6: Service User Need — Specific Accommodation: This Lot will encompass services that are able to respond to requests for services that meet a particular need specified by the Service User. For example, this could include all-male or all-female provision, a service that caters to a specific religious or cultural need, or a service that meets the needs of a particular age group. Lot 7: Autism Spectrum Disorder and Behaviours Which May Challenge the Service: This Lot will encompass services that are able to meet the needs of Service Users with Autism Spectrum Disorder, and will be specifically designed to support people who could at times display behaviours that may challenge the service. Organisations are permitted to express an interest in any one or more of the Lots for which they consider they are suitably qualified and experienced.
