Summary of the work Headscape Greenwich is a website that has been developed by the Trust with young people. This aim is to improve access to self-management resource and improve communication. Further development is required and the specification agreed by the project team will be informed by a co-design process with young people. Expected Contract Length 12 weeks Latest start date 11/05/2017 Budget Range £9,000 to £12,500 (maximum) Why the Work is Being Done Headscape Greenwich is a website that has been developed by Oxleas NHS Foundation Trust, in conjunction with young people, to help with accessing resources for mental health problems. This aim is to improve access to self-management resource, improve communication between families and professional, including teachers and primary care as well the ADHD team. The platform, provisionally called “Headscape: ADHD Focus” will provide resources for teachers to help support children in schools with ADHD. We are looking for an experienced developer to further develop work on the “Health Locker” platform for it to meet the requirements of the project. Problem to Be Solved The team are engaged in a co-design process with young people and families to refine the user needs and specifications for the platform for the purposes of the pilot project. The team will produce a set of specifications that will be required and anticipate working with the developer to agree the subsequent development of the “Health Locker” platform, if necessarily appropriately prioritizing development in to a series of sprints and user testing over a 12 week period. Who Are the Users The users will be the healthcare professionals in the team, young people, their parents, education professionals Existing Team The specialist will be working with the Oxleas Integrated Children Service ADHD Team in Greenwich. This a mixed team of experienced clinical professionals, and a project manager and researcher recruited for this project. Current Phase Beta Skills & Experience • Have User Led Design expertise (UX/UI) – 15 points • Have the ability to scale solutions to enterprise level performance – 8 points • Have expertise in the development and deployment of OpenSource software – 8 points • Have expertise with the integration of clinical systems and associated messaging standards – 15 points • Have experience and understanding of Information Governance in a healthcare setting – 15 points • Have an understanding of the Patient Health Record landscape in the UK and beyond – 15 points • Be able to deploy resources and initiate work immediately following selection - estimated as May 11 2017 – 15 points • Have experience of working in a mental health healthcare setting – 15 points • Experience of full clinical systems integration – 15 points • Have expertise with creating and executive a robust QA & implementation plan for both ALPHA and BETA – 10 points • Experience/knowledge of content management solutions – 8 points • Experience of developing mobile first website for all device types – 15 points • Experience developing mobile apps (native/IoS/Android) – 10 points • Experience/understanding of current prototype technology elements – being Java-based web application deployed to the Apache Tomcat server – 15 points Nice to Haves • Utilise an Agile Software Development methodology – 10 points • Demonstrate data visualisation expertise – 10 points • Provide evidence of delivery of patient focussed digital healthcare applications – 15 points • Demonstrate an understanding of NHS and healthcare Research data models and datasets – 15 points Work Location Oxleas NHS Foundation Trust, Bungalow 3 Wensley Close, Eltham, London SE9 5AB Working Arrangments We expect the selected specialist to largely work remotely following 1-2 initial meetings to agree the specification and timing of sprints. We also anticipate 1-2 face-to-face sessions with the specialist team and the project team to handover the developed platform and familiarisation with the funcationality at the end of the development sprint(s), to be arranged at covenient time and place dependent on the each parties’ requirements. We anticipate that updates will be conducted via email, video-calling, or telephone conference.
