Tender description

The contract is for a new Integrated Health Improvement and Behaviour Change Service for Southampton. The service will replace a number of previously commissioned services including Smoking Cessation, Health Trainer, and Health Promotion Services. The service will play a key role in supporting health improvement and behaviour change across Southampton's health and care system and delivery of Southampton's Health and Well-being Strategy. The Service Provider is expected to work closely with Southampton City Council's Public Health Team to provide health improvement leadership and expertise, and advocate public health principles and action to improve health and well-being and reduce health inequalities across the city.
