It is the intention of The University of Bristol to use the Restricted Procedure to appoint a fully integrated design team for the design and delivery of a new University Library. It is intended that the fully integrated design team will comprise of: — Architects — M&E Engineers — Civil & Structural Engineers The University also intends to make separate appointments via the Restricted Procedure for: — Project Manager — Quantity Surveyor / Cost Manager It is the intention of the University that the fully integrated design team will be led by the Architect, with the Architect also undertaking the CDM Principal Designer duties. Consultants interested in responding to the design team element are required to respond to this procurement exercise as a complete design team. No response / expression of interest is required at this stage; this Notice is solely to provide prior and clear notification to the market of the University's intentions and the intended structure of the appointments. This Notice is to notify the market that the University of Bristol intends to run procurement exercises to appoint a consultant team for the design and delivery of a new University Library. The University intends to use the Restricted Procedure to appoint a fully integrated design team, shortlisting at the first stage based on prior experience before selecting the winning consultants based on detailed technical proposals.
