Tender description

Currently there is a framework in place to supply whole blood collection and ancillary processing systems to the UK blood services, the Irish Blood Service, the Australian Red Cross and the New Zealand Blood Service. This agreement is due to expire on 31.10.2017. A tender process to replace this framework is currently under-way and the anticipated start date is 1.3.2018. Therefore NHSBT is seeking to extend the existing contracting arrangements on behalf of the services listed above in order to secure continuity of supply with existing suppliers for a period of 4 months.
