Tender description

The provision of Asbestos Surveying, Asbestos Analytical/ Air Testing and Asbestos Consultancy Services. The establishment of a framework agreement by Sandwell Metropolitan Borough Council for the provision of asbestos surveying, testing and consultancy services. For the purpose of this procurement exercise at the time of advertisement, this framework will be utilised by Sandwell MBC only and expenditure is estimated to be 250 000 GBP per annum. However provision will be made for its use by Dudley MBC, Wolverhampton City Council, Walsall MBC, Solihull MBC, Birmingham City Council and Coventry City Council. If the framework is adopted by all named Authorities then the potential value over a 4 year period could be 10 000 000 GBP. However it should be noted at this stage expenditure figures relate to Sandwell only.
